The Idea
Deal Scout helps users never miss a sale again by syncing merchant deals directly to their personal calendar. Designed for a startup pitch program, the concept focused on convenience, automation, and user trust.
Background & Research
This concept was developed for a startup pitch program. The initial idea came from a common problem: people miss out on sales simply because they forget when they’re happening. I imagined a way to automate deal tracking by syncing verified promotions with the user’s calendar.
The goal was to emphasize trust, convenience, and automation. I conducted light competitor research on affiliate models, focused on streamlining onboarding, and designed the prototype with a mobile-first layout using Figma.
The Concept
Deal Scout helps users never miss a sale by syncing merchant deals to their personal calendar.
Users select their favorite stores during onboarding, and verified promotions are added automatically.
This concept was pitched live as part of Gener8tor’s gALPHA incubator program and designed to show real-world product thinking:
